Getting a running campaign out is the holy grail when you’re working on Nike. It’s the brand’s fiercely guarded heartland and not many campaigns make it into the world.

But the running community was questioning Nike’s commitment, distracted by sports like golf and lacrosse. Brands like Brooks and ASICS were taking market share. Our long copy campaign re-iterated the brand’s inherent passion for running.

Insight showed that every runner is off their game when they miss their run. The darkly humorous executions showed how Nike truly understands the daily drive to put in the miles.
