STANDING IS FOR FLAMINGOS

We won the pitch to launch FlixBus’s new train service across Germany. Flix operates on key routes, at much cheaper than national carrier Deutsche Bahn. Alongside the price, the key selling point is that your ticket guarantees a seat.

Our national launch commercial played with the classic German way of securing a seat which is notorious the world over - get there early and throw a beach towel over it.

We established a sense of humour for the brand which we rolled out in key media sites such as station outdoor and online travel sites.

Alongside the film, our local campaign to promote key routes from Hamburg and Frankfurt played on local cultural nuances, from Frankfurt’s green sauce to Hamburg’s snootiness about neighbouring town Bremen.
